Biography
Pam Gaulin is an online media professional specializing in discoverable web content and niche content. She has the capability of writing to any audience, from small business owners to students, from tweens and teens to Generation X and Baby Boomers. She once made a banker laugh with one of her headlines for a business newsletter.
Who's Counting
She can write to an exact word count (from 80 words to 400 or more), as required by clients. Her strength lies in her ability to write on diverse topics, to well-defined audiences, as well as create content which has mass appeal.

Currently she is the Boston Family-Friendly Recreation Boston Columnist at Examiner.com, the Category Editor for Associated Content as well as a prolific content contributor, an active content creator and editor for Demand Studios, and her work may be found on more than 20 major websites.
Awards
She was named the Content Producer of the Year 2007 by Associated Content, chosen from more than 100,000 writers and videographers. In January of 2009 she won an award for Top Performing Content in the 2008 PMAs, based on the large number of pageviews she received on a localized article.
She also won Best Content for Home Improvement (September 2008) and Best Content for Winter Holidays (December 2008).
Working the Web
Formerly she edited a K-12 database for school libraries, operated by SIRS Publishing, Inc. (Now ProQuest).
She has spent most of the last two decades mining the web for the best and most useful content and is in love with social media.

She also edited Web Site Source Book, a 2,000 page library reference book. Before the Internet took over her professional life, Pam Gaulin was the Happenings Editor at the Valley Advocate in Western Massachusetts. While a Journalism student she was also published in The Daily Collegian at UMass.
Education
She holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Massachusetts.
Interests
When she's not creating online content or helping fellow web writers figure out search engine optimization techniques, she spends time with her family, hiking, walking or swimming. She is also an accomplished artist who has shown her art at a number of international art shows, and she shares her passion for creativity with her son.
